The Warren is based on the Powered by the Apocalypse system, meaning that character building is dynamic but straightforward, and all actions are found on the sheet!

A "standard" Warren session varies, and can take anywhere from 90 minutes to several hours.

3-6 players recommended, as each character has their own skill sets and vulnerabilities

Reference Material

For inspiration, recommended stories include the Peter Rabbit series, as well as Richard Adams' Watership Down (1978), Disney's Fox and the Hound (1981), and other animal-based movies where the main characters have to win through cleverness due to their lack in size.

Similar themes can be found in Redwall, Fantastic Mr. Fox, and The Wind in the Willows, but The Warren is less anthropomorphic (the animals are still animals, and do not act just like humans, ie. Zootopia, or Stuart Little)
